Programs Offered

  1. Basic Nursing Program

Duration: 3 years

Overview: This foundational program prepares students for professional nursing practice through a comprehensive curriculum, including courses in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health, and community health nursing.

Outcome: Graduates are eligible for licensure by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Post-Basic Nursing Program (Specialized Nursing)

Duration: 18 Months (Varies by Specialty)

Overview: Designed for registered nurses, this program allows specialization in pediatric nursing, psychiatric nursing, or midwifery. It equips nurses with advanced knowledge and skills in their chosen specialities, preparing them for leadership roles.

Admission Requirements

To apply for any of the programs, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Obtain English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology credits in no more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB examinations.

DOCUMENTS AND REQUIREMENTS

* RELETTER OF SPONSORSHIP FROM CANDIDATES LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL CHAIRMAN, PARENTS, GUARDIAN, STATUTORY BODIES, HUSBAND OR ANY OTHER SIGNIFICANT PERSON;

* Original and one photocopy of the identification letter from Local Government Area of origin;

* Original and three photo-copies of all Educational Qualification;

* Original and three photo-copies of Testimonial from Principals of the school attended;

* Original and three photo-copies of Birth Certificate or Sworn Statutory Declaration of Age;

* Original and three photo-copies of change of name, if application;

* Two recent passport-size photographs (colored with White background only);

* Affidavit of undertaking from parents/guardians that children/wards shall be of good behavior during their course of studies in the school;

* Affidavit of undertaking to be of good behavior at all times during your studentship of this institution and to comply strictly with all rules and regulations during your studentship in this institution;

* Affidavit of good conduct by applicant shall be written;

* Affidavit of non-membership of secret cult;

* Females black leather cover shoes with rubber sole. Male black leather cover shoes with rubber sole. (Sandals and high-heeled shoes are NOT allowed).

* Medium size surgical scissors;

* A wrist watch (must have second hand) Medium size surgical scissors

* Medical Certificate of fitness from any Government General Hospital.

NOTE:

1.All results of investigations must be presented to the school.

2.Photocopies of items j, k, l and m shall be submitted to the legal officer of the Ministry through the Department of Nursing Services, Ministry of Health Asaba.

3.Failure to assume studies or meet the registration requirement within two (2) weeks of assumption of studies, your space would be offered to another qualified person.

4.Note that if the student fails to assume studies or meet the registration requirement within 2 (two) weeks of assumption, the provisional admission would be deemed lapsed and the space offered to another qualified person.

5.Also, all fees paid are non-refundable.
